🌿 January 20 Hope Devotional: “Hope Is Still Anchored”

“Hope Is Still Anchored”

Scripture:

“Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast
”— Hebrews 6:19 (KJV)

Hope after grief doesn’t always feel strong. Sometimes it feels like a thin thread—quiet, fragile, barely noticed. But God reminds us today that hope is not based on feelings; it is anchored in Him.

An anchor doesn’t stop the storm. It keeps you from drifting while the storm passes.

Your hope is anchored in God’s promises, His faithfulness, and His unchanging love. Even when waves of grief rise, hope holds steady beneath the surface—firm, secure, and present.

Today, you don’t need to feel hopeful to have hope. You simply need to remain anchored.

God is holding you steady.

💛 Prayer:

Lord,Thank You for being the anchor of my soul. When emotions rise and uncertainty surrounds me, help me trust that hope is holding firm in You. Keep me steady today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
