âNew Strength for a New Weekâ
Scripture:
âBut they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eaglesâŠââ Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Mondays often carry mixed emotions. A new week begins, but the weight of what you carry doesnât automatically lift. Hope after grief can feel especially fragile at the start of a weekâwhen routines resume and the world expects you to keep moving forward.
But God offers a different rhythm.
He doesnât ask you to rush into the week with your own strength. He invites you to wait on Himâto lean into His presence and allow Him to renew what feels worn.
Renewed strength doesnât always look like energy or excitement. Sometimes it looks like courage to try again. Sometimes it looks like peace replacing anxiety. Sometimes it looks like simply showing up with a willing heart.
As this week begins, remember: You are not starting empty. You are starting held.
God is renewing your strength even nowâquietly, faithfully, gently. Hope is not something you have to create. It rises naturally when you rest in Him.
Step into this Monday with trust. God is walking ahead of you. And hope is already waiting there.
đ Prayer:
Lord, As this new week begins, renew my strength and steady my heart. Help me wait on You instead of rushing ahead in my own power. Fill this Monday with Your peace, guide my steps, and let hope rise gently within me. In Jesusâ Name, Amen.
