Rolling With Grace: The Adventure Begins

The countdown is officially on! In just a couple of days, we’ll be loading up the van, saying a prayer for safe travels, and heading south for our New Orleans adventure.

If you know us, you know we don't just travel — we roll with grace, faith, and maybe a little caffeine to keep us going. Traveling with a wheelchair, a service dog, and a heart full of excitement brings its own challenges, but it also brings some of the most beautiful moments.

This trip has been on our hearts for a while now. New Orleans — full of history, music, food, and culture — has always been a place we’ve wanted to explore. But we’re doing it our way:✔ Free, pet-friendly activities✔ Accessibility first✔ Faith leading the way✔ And of course… trying ALL the good food!

What We’re Packing:

• Wheelchair essentials

• Service dog gear for Althea (and treats, of course)

• Our Bibles — because no adventure starts without God leading the way

• A whole lot of snacks

• Comfortable clothes for exploring

• And an open heart for wherever this journey takes us

What We’re Expecting:

We know traveling isn’t always smooth — but that’s where grace steps in. We’re praying for good weather, kind people, accessible spaces, and plenty of joyful moments along the way. But even when hiccups happen (and they will), we’ll trust God’s got us right where we’re supposed to be.

We’ll be sharing every step of this adventure — the places we go, the food we try, the people we meet, the moments that make us smile (and maybe the ones that test our patience too).
