“The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.”—Psalm 23:1–2 (KJV)
In a world that rushes and demands so much of us, the Lord gently invites us to rest. He doesn’t just give us peace—He leads us to it. When our hearts grow weary, He reminds us that we are His sheep, and He is our Shepherd.
He knows every need before we speak it, every tear before it falls, and every step before we take it. His leading brings restoration for the soul, calm for the anxious heart, and comfort for the weary spirit.
Today, pause for a moment and breathe in His peace. Let the Shepherd guide you beside still waters. Rest in His care and trust that where He leads, goodness and mercy will surely follow.
Reflection for Today: Have you allowed the Lord to lead you beside still waters lately? Take time today to rest in His presence and listen for His voice.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for being my Shepherd. Lead me today beside still waters and restore my soul. Teach me to find peace in Your presence and to trust Your guiding hand in all I do. Amen.
