🫘 Smoky Bean & Sausage Camp Stew
Bold, hearty, and deeply warming—perfect for colder nights.
Serves: 6–8Cook Time: 40–45 minutes
Ingredients
1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
1 can (15 oz) pinto beans, drained & rinsed
1 can (15 oz) great northern beans, drained & rinsed
1 small onion, diced
2 carrots, sliced
4 cups chicken or beef broth
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp black pepper
Salt to taste
Instructions
Brown sausage in a Dutch oven; remove and set aside.
Sauté onion and carrots in the same pot.
Add beans, broth, seasonings, and sausage.
Simmer 30–35 minutes. Serve hot with cornbread.
