✍️ Writer’s Daily Devotional – October 7, 2025 Following Your Calling to Write

Equipped for the Calling Scripture:

Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.”—1 Thessalonians 5:24 (KJV)

Devotional: When God calls you to write, He doesn’t expect you to do it alone. The One who placed the calling within you will also equip you to fulfill it. You may feel inadequate at times, unsure of what to say or how to begin—but God’s faithfulness is your confidence.

Writing for the Lord is not about perfection—it’s about obedience. Every time you sit down to write, even through uncertainty or fear, you are walking in faith. And where God calls, He provides. He will give you the words, the wisdom, and the strength you need to continue.

Remember, the calling is His, not yours to carry alone. He started the work within you, and He is faithful to complete it.

So today, write boldly. You are fully equipped by the One who called you.

Reflection Prompt: Where have you been doubting your ability to write what God has placed on your heart? How can you lean on His faithfulness today?

Prayer: Lord, thank You for being faithful to complete the work You’ve begun in me. Equip me with Your strength and guidance as I write today. Help me to trust not in my ability, but in Your power working through me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
